nestled in the roots of an old oak tree

my old feline friend Wizard took his leave from this existence today...

wizard came into my life as a young cat from the wrong side of the tracks in Santa Cruz...his age an enigma but yet revealing from his big, expressive eyes...
he lived a full life, a big life, a BIGGER-than-life life...he lived out his last years in the lap of luxury: mesmerizing those humans around him with his ability to open doors, sit in the bathtub til the faucet was turned on... his ultra-intelligent skills recognized...
i will miss him... may his spirit bless us forever~
