The pond is the only thing at Jubilee that I did not personally build; but I did pester the dozer operator until he offered me the chance to "do it yourself". There was a large wet area at the bottom of the pasture and I had it "dozed" out to form a dam on three sides, open on the uphill. This made the dam quite long so it is referred to as Dam Pond and has nothing to do with Sandra's comment about me wasting time down at the Dam Pond.
Of all the attractions at Jubilee this Dam Pond is the favorite of kids. There are always Perch and a few large Catfish to be caught. I tell parents to bring a camera when they come to visit.
